I purchased this item noting that its price was about 1/4 that of reducers made by well-known gunmakers. I am well satisfied with the product. Earlier experience I had with a reducer was that velocity was greatly reduced and patterns were terrible. This reducer produces near spec velocity readings and fantastic patterns in my shotgun with substantially reduced recoil. It will work great for hunting squirrels and grouse.

This is a great product! It allows .410's to be ran through a 12gauge, it reduces the recoil and sound so its great for practicing with a bigger gun. It is completely metal so theres no risk of breaking it. I would definately recommend this if you need that extra practice with your big gun without spending too much on ammo. Now I can tell my friends I killed a squirrel with the same gun that downed a deer.

I have the 410 and this 20 ga adapter reducer, excellent quality! If you had doubts, don't any longer, these are VERY well made and LAST, shot after shot after shot! with NO visible signs of wear.
